You Plan It, We Pay It

We’re keeping this intentionally limited so we can actually execute the winning plans at a high level. A smaller pool also gives each group a real chance of being selected, instead of competing against thousands of entries.

As a San Diego startup, we benefit from this too. Instead of paying influencers, we’d rather fund real experiences and reward real people to grow through actual usage.

If your group is selected, we may capture some content, ask for light participation in the app, and use the experience to help build momentum. In return, we fund your plan.

No. This is a selection-based contest. We choose the strongest plans based on how well they followed the instructions, how complete they feel, and how ready they are to actually happen.

Yes. To qualify, your submitted plan must show exactly 10 friends committed. We recommend inviting more people at first so you have some cushion in case a few do not RSVP.

No. Friends can RSVP through the shared link initially. However, all participants must have the Planz app downloaded with a valid FREE account by April 3 for the submission to remain eligible.

We like plans that feel fun, unique, and realistic to pull off. The easier it is to get organized, the better. If you already have a venue, package, or provider in mind and it feels close to ready, that can make your submission even stronger.

Your plan does not have to stay under $1,000, but we will only cover up to the first $1,000. If your plan costs more than that, your group would need to cover the rest.

Your group’s selected date must fall between April 11 and April 30. Plans outside that range will not be considered.

Submissions are open from March 23 through April 2, 2026. Your plan link must be submitted before the deadline to be considered.

If your group is selected, we’ll reach out with next steps. You must also send us a direct message on Instagram after submitting so we have an open conversation thread to contact you. At that stage, all confirmed participants must have valid Planz accounts before we finalize the experience. Once selected, your group will have 24 hours to confirm the final details or we may move on to the next submission.

We’re sponsoring real group planz for at least one qualified group. To enter, create a plan in the Planz app, invite friends, and reach 10 confirmed RSVPs. Once you're ready, come back to this page and submit your entry.

All participants must have active Planz accounts to verify real users. Entries must be submitted between March 23 and April 2, and the plan must take place in San Diego between April 11 and April 30.

We’re only accepting a maximum of 12 qualified entries in total, and submissions will close once that limit is reached.

Any attempt to game the system, including fake accounts, duplicate entries, or manipulated RSVPs, will result in immediate disqualification.

No. We’re limiting this round to just 12 qualified entries, so allowing multiple submissions from one person would be unfair and could reduce opportunities for other groups.
